The Richmond location of the Ride With GPS Cutty Cap Challange returns in 2025

And we’re super excited to be hosting it!

The Hunt is On Saturday, May 31st!
The Cutty Cap Challenge is a scavenger hunt where riders follow clues in the app version of Ride With GPS, leading them to collect custom printed cycling caps (and we’re spicing it up by adding some extra prizes to each location.)

This year, the whole contest happens in the app. Open the app and head to the homepage at 8am on Saturday, May 31st to find a treasure map with Richmond Cap locations overlaid – and ride out to find them!

This year, we have a point system where riders can earn additional points for bonus prizes. We’ll award points for:
-checking in at Cap locations, even if you don’t get the cap
-taking photos
-checking in to multiple Cap locations, even if the caps aren’t there anymore
– a bonus side quest that will happen randomly during the day and may involve a prize
