CoffeeOutside is BACK, baby!

Well, honestly, it never really went away we guess, wink emoji.

In scrolling back through our photo log, searching for coffee rides of the last years, we have some pretty great C.O. meetup photos from as far back as 2017 – don’t worry, we know it was happening before that, at campsites, river cuts and everywhere in between. We’re looking forward to partnering up with Ride With GPS to celebrate the larger celebration of #coffeeoutside this year on October 12th, and hope you can jump in! Hit that RSVP below!

In addition to a local prize pack, head to RWGPS to RSVP for the global celebration, which is your free entry to an even BIGGER prize.

Ride leaders will meet you for rollout at 8:30am, and we will arrive at our meetup location at 9:00am. We can’t encourage you ENOUGH to wear your MTNCAT jersey, if you have one. Layer up if you need, we’d love a big group pic of the whole gang sporting their goods.

North of the river, you will meet at the Dogwood Dell Carrillon, a.k.a. the Bell Tower. Plentiful free parking is directly adjacent at Barker Field if you need to drive in.

South of the river, you will meet at the New Kent/42nd Street entrance to Forest Hill Park. Again, plentiful free parking is available in the big lot right there, at Forest Hill Park.

Both rides tackle a 4-ish mile commute. North of the river, expect primarily pavement or very fine, smooth gravel. South of the river, expect quite a bit of gravel, some medium sized and some smooth.

Clicking on the buttons or maps below will take you to Ride With GPS, where you can find the option to meet North or South of the River to join a group ride to the official meetup brew site.

New to coffee outside? Here’s what you need to know, and what’s helpful to bring:

You’ll want to bring your favorite portable brewing device, a small camp stove/jetboil or way to heat water, your favorite beans (ground already?), a hand grinder for beans if you have one, and your mug. Riders will all assemble, enjoy a short commute to a beautiful view, and we’ll enjoy coffee together.
